Q1. How do I purchase offline subscription?

Ans. Here is what you have to do to purchased the Offline Subscription:
(a) Launch the application.
(b) After the playlist is updated from server, you will see the screen listing all the songs (Playlist View).
In this screen at top you will find "Listen Offline" button.
(c) Press "Listen Offline" button, this will take you to "Buy Subscription" page.
(d) At bottom there is button "Login to buy/restore subscription". Tap on that button, it will take you to
sign-in screen. Please enter your username and password and see if you are able to sign-in. If you have not already a member of GaneShane please sign-up.

Note: After successful sign-in, you need to purchase the Offline Subscription from Apple App Store to
unlock the Offline feature.


Q2. "I have installed the app and want to login to renew the membership there is problem in signing in and
I never get the email to activate my account"?

Ans. Please follow the steps and see that if you are able to log-in successfully:
(a) Launch the application.
(b) After the playlist is updated from server, you will see the screen listing all the songs (Playlist View).
In this screen at top you will find "Listen Offline" button.
(c) Press "Listen Offline" button, this will take you to "BuySubscription" page.
(d) At bottom there is button "Login to buy/restore subscription". Tap on that button, it will take you to
sign-in screen. Please enter your username and password and see if you are able to sign-in.

Note: After successful sign-in, you need to purchase the Offline Subscription from Apple App Store to
unlock the Offline feature.And if you are not able to sign-in please verify your apple itunes username and password.

In step (d) stated above, if you are not able to login on ganeshane server then please try re-setting your ganeshane password.
For re-setting your ganeshane password, please follow the following steps :-
(a) When you open www.ganeshane.com on the top right hand side you would see Log In.
(b) Click on that and you would see a dialog box appearing.
(c) Click on forgot your password.It would ask you for your email id.
(d) Enter your email id and a link would be sent on that id to reset your password.


Q3. After login if I try to purchase, it says you are not authorized to make payments on this device?

Ans. You need to enable In-App purchases on your device from parental controls. You can do that
by following the steps on your device:-
"=> Settings=> General => Restrictions => In-app Purchases => On"
After enabling the In-app Purchases you would be able to purchase the Offline Subscription.


Q4. I payed for offline subscription and every time I try and listen to songs it tells me it cannot play the file?

Ans. Here is what you *should* have seen if everything worked alright after you have purchased the Offline
Subscription:
(a) Download and install the Latest100s app fine - Latest100s App installed with a Music Icon on your
device.
(b) Launch app - observer the first screen listing "Top 100s - Latest Hindi Songs" logo with a
"Updating playlist..." message.
(c) After it fetches the latest list from the server, you should see the list with 100 songs.
(d) Press "Listen Offline" button, this will take you to Offline feature page.
(e) Press "Sync" to start downloading the songs on your device.
(f) Once the song is downloaded you can press the play icon on left to play the song.


Q5. When I click 'listen offline' its taking so long to sync each song, about five - ten minutes a time which
just kills my battery and when I came on next time the three songs that I had synced weren't synced anymore.?

Ans. For uninterrupted playback and syncing, you need 3G/Edge or a WiFi connection with atleast
128Kbps.

Q1. I have purchased this application and its not working.

Ans. Here is what you should have seen if everything worked alright:
(a) Download and install the Latest100s app.
(b) Launch the app. Observe the first screen showing "Top 100s - Latest Hindi Songs" logo with a "Loading
Please wait" message.
(c) After it fetches the latest playlist from the server, you should see the list off 100 songs.
(d) Selecting Play icon on any song will show you the NowPlaying screen.
Playback will start after some initial buffering, depending upon the speed of the network (wifi/3G).

Q2. I get only that brown screen with tunnel and loading.......for ever?

Ans. Please try these steps:
(a) From the home screen, go to "Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications" and select the
application from the list.
You will see detailed information for the application. Click on "Force Stop". Now start the application again.
(b) If the above does not work, then please restart the phone and then start the application.
(c) If the above does not work, then go to "Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications"
from the home screen, and select the application from the list.
You will see detailed information for the application. Click on "Clear Cache". Now start the application again.
(d) If none of the above steps work, please try by uninstalling and reinstalling the application.
Once an application is purchased, it can be downloaded multiple times without any further fees.

Note: We are aware of this problem being observed on some devices that are running on firmware
version of 2.3. We are actively working on fixing this issue and request you to wait for the
next release of this application.
Q1. The application could not connect to internet. It shows an error "Please check your phone's APN
settings." What are APN settings?

Ans. APN is the access point name of the phone. It is the access point for GPRS/EDGE/UMTS data
connection. Some Wireless carriers require APN information set in the phone for any music streaming service.
We have a list of many different carrier specific APNs. You can try to find your phone's carrier listed here. If you don't find your phone's carrier information, please contact the customer service department of your wireless carrier for the APN settings. You can also search on internet for the APN settings you need for example you can search Vodafone UK APN blackberry


You can setup the APN of your phone by going to Options >> Advanced Options >> TCP and enter the information based on your carrier.

Note: Please note that the application will still run over Wi-Fi if your phone supports Wi-F- network
connection.


Q2. The application has stopped working. It was working before.

Ans. Sometimes the phone goes into a bad state for example phone's memory is really low. In that state it
becomes very hard for the applications to run. You may try the following steps:
(a) Turn Off the phone.
(b) Pull out the battery of the phone.
(c) Plug back the battery after 10 seconds.
(d) Restart the phone.
(e) Try again.
